Because Mike has the real world experience we need in government. Mike’s work as a recruiter supports a variety of businesses, which gives him an understanding of what Missouri’s economy and workers need. Mike has also been a financial advisor, which gave him the education and experience to understand the financial challenges families face today. He’s also been a small business manager, which taught him first-hand how important small businesses are to Missouri and how difficult it is to run a successful business.

Because Mike believes that your needs are more important than the government’s needs. He still holds on to the concept that bureaucrats in Jefferson City have forgotten: government is supposed to serve us; we are not here to serve government.
Because Mike's Missouri roots run deep. The Ferguson family roots in
Missouri go back to the early 1800s, when his great grandfather, Austin
Victor Ferguson, was the town blacksmith in McBaine. Before that, Mike's
great-great grandfather, Taylor Ferguson, was one of the town preachers in
Mokane.
Because Mike knows what government should, and should not be doing. Instead of looking for ways to make government bigger and more involved in our lives, Mike wants to see government get out of our way as much as possible.
Because Mike grew up in a family dedicated to helping others. He’s the son of a Baptist preacher who also used to be a volunteer firefighter and a public schoolteacher who also used to be a volunteer Emergency Medical Technician.
Because Mike is the only candidate for Lieutenant Governor who is willing to stand up against corporate welfare and fight for small businesses and taxpayers.
Because you can send an unmistakable message to our state government! Every vote for Mike Ferguson tells the Republican Party, the Democratic Party and those in government that they cannot take your vote for granted.
Because voting for Mike lets you cancel out at least one of your parent’s votes.
Because Mike has a vested interest in making Missouri the best it can be: he wants the best for his own children’s future!
Because Mike has hands-on experience in providing jobs and preparing people for the job market. When politicians talk about creating jobs, they rely on watered-down legislation and debates on useless amendments that usually make things worse. Mike, on the other hand, works personally with business colleges that train our future business leaders and with non profit groups that help people transition from welfare to work.
Because taxes are too high!
Because you don’t have to settle for voting against someone you don’t like or settle for voting for the “lesser of two evils”. Voting for Mike Ferguson means you will be voting for something positive: Solutions for Missouri!
